Art is not an

idea to be illustrated,

but a material expression

of the unspeakable.

FRANÇOIS BEAUDRY — Painter

An engineer turned painter, I work with time-tested mediums —

tempera, encaustic, pastel, and watercolor — to give

a tangible presence to what words cannot convey. My work

moves along the threshold between figuration and abstraction,

where matter, memory, and society converge.
